Since 2009, I have written mainly for theater and opera. I have worked with Àlex Ollé as a dramaturg – Quartett (by Luca Francesconi) at Teatro alla Scala in Milano, Histoire du Soldat (Stravinski) at the Opera de Lyon, etc., and as a librettist – Frankenstein (Grey) at La Monnaie, Bruxelles (2019). I am currently writing a second opera for Mark Grey, Birds in the Moon, that will be premiered in 2020 in the US.
Up until 2009, I worked for several Catalan, Spanish, Italian and French theater companies, as a playwright, assistant director and producer. I was also part of the Sala Beckett Theatre team from 2003 to 2008.
Back in 1996 I moved to Dublin to study contemporary Irish theater and I stayed until 2001. In Dublin, I worked as a playwright, director, actress and assistant director in tiny, small, medium and huge projects. Among those I value the most are Armada Theater Co., Opera Theater Company, Dublin Fringe Theater Festival and the contemporary music ensamble VOX 21, with whom I worked on several projects, directed by composer Benjamin Dwyer.
